Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA) Norman Nabhan has spent more than 30 years working with some of the leading institutions in the financial and investment services industry. Having earned his BA from Purdue University, Nabhan worked as an account executive in Chicago before joining E.F. Hutton in 1977. Moving to Smith Barney’s Consulting Group, he further developed his investment expertise through a number of management positions, including Director of Institutional and Portfolio Advisory Services. In 2004, Norman Nabhan joined Citigroup, where he served first as a Managing Director and as National Director of Investment Consulting, and later as President of Citigroup Investment Advisory Services.
Currently, Norman Nabhan works with Graystone Consulting, a division of Morgan Stanley, as a Financial Advisor, Institutional Consulting Director, and Managing Director of Wealth Management. Serving institutional clients and family offices, Nabhan provides a range of investment consulting services with a personal specialization in asset allocation strategies and alternative investments. He acquired his CIMA designation from the Investment Management Consultants Association after completing a course of study at the Wharton School of Business, and has also earned his Accredited Investment Fiduciary certification (AIF) from the Center for Fiduciary Studies.
Norman Nabhan is a sought-after speaker at industry and philanthropic conferences, and has given presentations at the Indiana University Center of Philanthropy, Johns Hopkins University Center for Non Profit Management, the University of Texas Law School Non Profit Institute, and the Association of Small Foundations. He is a former Advisory Board member of the Purdue University Endowment (Alternative Investment) and Boston College’s Center for Wealth and Philanthropy, and a past Director and National President of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. He has been granted the title of Director Emeritus of the Investment Management Consultants Association.
